how come code throws an

uncaught referenceerror: $ not defined

when ok before? 

$(document).ready(function() {     $('#tabs > ul').tabs({ fx: { opacity: 'toggle' } });     $('#featuredvid > ul').tabs(); });

results in tabs don't close anymore.

jquery referenced in header:

you should put references jquery scripts first.
